At Nurtured Balance Wellness, my mission is to support individuals and families in achieving clarity, balance, and resilience through personalized psychiatric care. While I hold a strong focus in women’s integrative mental health — including pregnancy, postpartum, and perinatal loss — my practice also welcomes those managing conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and stress-related challenges across the lifespan.

Life Transitions: Helping professionals, caregivers, and families navigate burnout, grief, and stress with practical, sustainable strategies.
Hospice & Palliative Care: Deep understanding of emotional support during life’s most vulnerable moments.

Founder & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong academic and clinical foundation in nursing and mental health care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and my Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. I hold advanced practice licensure as a PMHNP-BC in Arizona, North Carolina, and Washington, and maintain Registered Nurse licensure in New York and North Carolina. My clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based psychiatry, ethical standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
I bring over 25 years of registered nursing experience, with a specialized focus in perinatal and women’s health, including antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. This extensive background provides a comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological transitions associated with pregnancy and childbirth. My approach to care is holistic and collaborative, emphasizing thoughtful assessment, individualized treatment planning, and respectful, nonjudgmental support to promote long-term mental wellness and stability.
Meet the Team
Cleo Alega
Cleo Alega
Office Manager
Cleo is the friendly, organized force behind the scenes at Nurtured Balance Wellness. She works closely with Linda to keep the day-to-day details moving and to make sure patients have a smooth, welcoming experience from the moment they connect with the practice.
Whether she’s helping with a question, coordinating the details, or making sure something gets where it needs to go, Cleo loves bringing a little calm and order to the busy side of healthcare. She believes asking for mental health support can already feel like a big step, so the administrative part shouldn’t make it any harder.
Most importantly, Cleo wants every patient interaction to feel helpful, human, and a little less stressful.
When she’s away from her desk, Cleo loves traveling, spending time with her family, and making memories wherever the next adventure takes her.
