  • I offer comprehensive psychiatric care including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and brief psychotherapy when appropriate. My practice also has a special interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause.

  • Medication management visits include supportive therapy and evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies and Motivational Interviewing when clinically appropriate. Short-term therapy support may be provided while you establish care with a long-term therapist if needed.

  • I provide care for children (age 6 and up), adolescents, and adults. I welcome individuals of all genders, identities, backgrounds, cultures, and races. Care is inclusive, respectful, and tailored to each person’s needs.

  • If previous medications have not been effective or caused side effects, we will review your treatment history and adjust your plan. When clinically appropriate, pharmacogenetic testing (such as GeneSight®) may be recommended to help guide medication selection and support a more personalized approach.

  • Yes. I provide support for burnout, compassion fatigue, anxiety, depression, and work-related stress. This includes healthcare professionals, caregivers, and individuals in high-responsibility or high-stress roles.

  • Telehealth appointments are currently available through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. In-person office visits in North Carolina will be available soon. Please check the website for updates and availability.

  • Common concerns include anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma and stress-related symptoms, burnout, life transitions, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and perimenopause-related mood changes.

  • Yes, we accept select insurance plans as well as private pay. Please visit our Insurance & Payment page for the most up-to-date list of accepted carriers and options.

  • Your initial visit (60–90 minutes) includes a thorough psychiatric evaluation, discussion of your history and current concerns, and a personalized treatment plan. This may include medication management, therapy recommendations, or lifestyle support.

  • Yes, controlled medications may be prescribed when clinically appropriate. Prescriptions are provided in accordance with federal and state regulations. Some medications may require additional monitoring

  • Yes. We provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults.

  • Absolutely. We welcome and affirm patients of all gender identities. Care is always personalized, respectful, and inclusive.

  • All sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a private link before your appointment and can join from a phone, tablet, or computer.

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us serve other patients waiting for care.

  • Our primary focus is on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. However, we often include brief supportive therapy within visits to help address emotional challenges and promote resilience. When more frequent or long-term therapy is needed, we collaborate closely with trusted therapists to ensure you receive comprehensive care.

  • Your initial visit is a comprehensive evaluation (typically 60–90 minutes) where we review your concerns, history, and goals to develop a personalized treatment plan.

  • Yes, when clinically appropriate and after a thorough evaluation. Additional screening and regular follow-up visits may be required to ensure safe and effective treatment.
